This cute MFT set has been sitting in my stamp collection feeling neglected for far too long. So I pulled it out and got to stamping. I stamped out this little cutie using Memento ink and colored him with copics. The book is paper pieced using some Jillibean cardstock. His glasses are covered in glaze ink, to mimic the reflection of glass. After he was finished, I carefully cut him out and attached him to the bookmark base with dimensionals. The book mark was made by die cutting a layer of patterned paper and cardstock and adhering them together. I added a little topper and used my crop-a-dile to add the grommet. I made the holder using kraft cardstock that I die cut using the same pattern to you can see the entire image. A simple sentiment finishes out the card.
Since the bookmark isn't very snug in the holder, I used a tiny bit of scotch tape to hold it in place just until it arrives safely at its destination. Once he's enjoyed his card, he can pull it out and use it to hold his place in his books.
