MFT Challenge and Mojo Monday

Today's card is a combination of the monthly MFT guest designer challenge and this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  Jessie challenged us to make a masculine card and use something metallic in it.  Since I don't really have any "boy" stamps, I used one Maid For You.  My reasoning is that most men would love to see their wives cleaning the house in cute maid's outfits :)  Here's what I came up with:

The vertical stripe was made by running a black metal sheet by Ten Seconds Studio though the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder and slightly sanding the raised portion so the metal shows through.  The clear round disk is the top spacer that comes inside most CD spindles.  The wording was stamped on with Staz On ink and the edges were inked up with black Staz On and Fresh Snow from Pallette.  Her dress ruffle was poufed up with some liquid applique and the background was paper pieced.

MFT is gearing up for another release this Wednesday.  If you haven't already, be sure and stop by the MFT lady's blog.  She's got plenty of sneak peeks that their DT put together.  That's it for today.  Have a good night!
